I met Saba shortly after I moved to the Bay, through Michael Marriott, the designer behind WoodMetalPlastic. An Iranian-American immigrant, Saba started her career as a chemical engineer before turning her passion for jam into a full-time business. She uses local, seasonal ingredients to create her unique and addictive jams. Once opened, these are gone almost immediately. I enjoy them on toast, but I love adding these to yogurt or oatmeal with honey, olive oil, and salt.
