Pain de Mie Lamp

During her time as a printmaking student at Kyoto City University of Arts, Yukiko Morita fell in love with bread while working at a bakery. She became frustrated watching all the waste, for the bakery, discarded breads at the end of the day, or dough being thrown out due to over production. The idea for what eventually became Pampshade came to her while brainstorming a solution for all the waste. She continued to refine her work even after graduation and began presenting her products at craft markets until opening her shop in 2016 in her hometown of Kobe, Japan. - "The MORE: we understand bread, all the morewe fall in love with bread" - Y.M.
